Responsibilities

• Create rigs and high quality keyframe animation for characters, ships, and environment objects
• Create short cinematic moment animations
• Support gameplay and feature development with functional in-game animations
• Work closely with the Art Director to establish and maintain a consistent animation style

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in game development or 3d animation
• Advanced knowledge of Maya and/or 3ds Max
• Basic knowledge of Unity animation workflow
• Strong understanding of animation principles and basic camera work
• Strong communication skills, positive attitude, and a great team-player
• Results driven, accountable, and able to accept constructive feedback
• Must provide an online demo reel or examples of professional work with descriptions

Additional Skills

• 2d animation and/or storyboarding experience
• Ability to rig and animate faces
• Experience working with motion capture data
• Experience with Agile software development using Scrum
• Fluent in Chinese is a strong plus
